iPad 3 Rumors

The iPad 3 should be released early march since it was postponed from February.  The iPad 2 has been successful and they plan out for the iPad 3 to even be more successful.   They iPad 3 is supposedly to have a rear HD camera for face time features.  There is a possibility where it will turn out to be called the iPad 2s since the released iPhone 4s was to be called the iPhone 5.  So the iPad 3 was dated to be released in march but iPad 4 possibly in october.

I think that it's funny how this marketing system works and people fall for it.  Most people will buy all the latest apple products even though they are spending more than they have to.  Apple is so successful with it's sales because it has this smart procedure.  They create an iPod and sells it.  Then they make the iPod be able to call people called the iPhone and sell it for more money.  Then they tweak it and called it a revolutionairy phone and call it the iPhone 2 until they come up with something called an iPad which is a bigger iPod.  Then I would guess the iPad would be given a keyboard or the ability to call.  And people fall for this buying the products because they think it may help their life when it doesn't.

Computer Smarter Than You

Swedish researchers has created a AI of a computer with a 150 IQ.  The computer IQ is has been based off non verbal tests.  The computer can see and find patterns of certain images and some math equations.  The Swedish team of researchers are looking ways to make the computer think more human like.  They are trying to make the computer see patterns exactly how human sees patterns.  The program does not have answers or math equations to solve patterns.

I think this program is going to make alot of people more lazy about doing homework.  I do not think this will be released for everyones everyday use because it will cause problems for people being lazy.  I think this program will be used to make medicines or create math formulas that will change our lifestyle.  I think the program will be limited to certain people or not at all and then be destroyed by the government because they are always against things that make our lifes easier but have the government lose education.

Infographic Thinkers

Infographic thinking is what seems to be the future of passing along large amounts of information in a small or large picture.  It takes out the main points and put it on the picture while showing a very easy to read graph along with it.  It has lots of colours and shapes so that it doesn't look boring and that the viewers actually read the whole thing.  Nobody wants to read large amounts of text in a white box but most people would if that paragraph was spread out into main points and pictures were added to show support of the main idea.

I think infographics is a great idea for people who hate reading alot.  It would help me find the main points quicker and faster.  Getting information through infographics would make you have a different view on the subject you are reading about.  Maybe when your reading a paragraph you dont take it serious enough because you are bored but infographics can change on how you react to the information given to you whether it be sad happy fear etc.

Facebook uses HTML5 on iPhone

Facebook has just thought about having a HTML5 Facebook app for the iPhone when other people have already made a Facebook app that uses HTML5 and is faster.  Facebook wants to attract more people so they swap their theme to their original blue theme.  Android users have faster Facebook app than iPhone users.  People have complained about the lack of speed of Facebook on the iPhone.  Facebook HTML5 update for the iPhone is very late.

I wonder why Facebook only started to think about updating there Facebook app on the iPhone.  Since the Facebook app on the android has been already updated and is way faster then the Facebook app on the iPhone.  I think because building an app for an iPhone is more complicated and slow then making one on the android which was built for the app market.

'Chronicle,' 'Woman in Black' Crush Box Office With Surprisingly Strong Weekend

Fox spent about $12 million to make "Chronicle," a found footage action film about a group of high school friends who develop superpowers. CBS picked up domestic distribution rights for "The Woman in Black," about a young lawyer who travels to a remote village where he encounters the ghost of a scornful woman, for $3 million."Both pictures way overperformed, which is good for everybody," Chris Aronson, Fox's distribution chief, told TheWrap Sunday morning. "It's good for the business."  And he pointed out that both "Chronicle" and "Woman in Black" attracted the increasingly elusive under-25 moviegoer.

colleges obsess over rankings, students shrug

Baylor University pays their high ranking students more than enough for what they need.  This university is paying money to achieve top students in their school.  Students that arn't at the level the school want them to be gets worried when the school decides who should not receive money for education.  There are cheating in this school which is not right for how much the school pays and the amount of high ranking students.  The school is still facing problems on cheating and is finding a way to stop it
